Kohli has already arrived in Chennai and joined his side – Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team on April 1. They will kick start their campaign against Mumbai Indians on April 9 as well. Meanwhile, the Bangalore-based franchise has posted a quote from their captain where he expressed his love for the team and also expressed that he can’t imagine himself leaving the side or playing for any other IPL franchise as he has been playing for RCB for a long time.

On the other hand, Kohli led RCB to the playoffs in the IPL 2020 in the UAE where they lost to SunRisers Hyderabad in the eliminator. And, Virat Kohli will be hoping that he will lead the team to their first IPL title with the inclusion of Glenn Maxwell and Kyle Jamieson in their squad as well.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are one of the three franchises that have never won a single IPL trophy since the inaugural season of the cash-rich T20 league that started way back in 2008. However, Bangalore have so far played three IPL finals but are yet to win the trophy as well.
