The Bangladesh cricketers went on strike on Monday as they said they wouldn’t take part in any of the cricketing activity until their 11-point demands are fulfilled by the Bangladesh Cricket Board. With their strike, a question mark has been raised on their upcoming tour of India. However, new BCCI President Sourav Ganguly is confident that the players will sort out the issue with the board and the series will take place as per the schedule.

He was even asked if he would be speaking about the issue to the Bangladesh Cricket Board as BCCI President, Ganguly replied in a polite manner.
