Former England captain turned famous commentator Michael Vaughan has been in the news for his recent comments regarding Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson. And, now Australian journalist Chloe-Amanda Bailey has trolled him on social media for his controversial comments on the Kane Williamson-Virat Kohli matter as well.
However, Vaughan had to face backlash as he stated that Williamson would have been more popular than Kohli if he was an Indian. And, he also stated that Kohli is famous only because of his followers on social media and nothing else. It is also noteworthy that, both Kane Williamson and Virat Kohli are considered the two best batsmen in recent times as well.

“If Kane Williamson was Indian, he would be the greatest player in the world. But he’s not because you’re not allowed to say that Virat Kohli is not the greatest, because you’d get an absolute pelting on social media. So, you all say Virat is the best purely to get few more clicks and likes, few more numbers following here. Kane Williamson, across formats, is equally the best. I think the way he plays, the calm demeanour, his humbleness, the fact that he is silent about what he does,” Michael Vaughan told Spark Sport in an interview.

However, Vaughan’s comment was criticized by fans all over social media. On the other hand, Amanda, who is known for her affection towards Team India and Kohli, was tagged in a tweet by a user and asked about her thoughts about this as well.
“Micheal Vaughan was saying that Kane Williamson is better player than Virat Kohli . What’s your thought about that?,” the user asked. To which, the Australian journalist took a jibe at Michael Vaughan and hilariously responded: “Send me Michael Vaughan’s location.”
