As quoted in BCC, Winnipeg coach Waqar Younis said, “He’s going to be a good leader. He’s a team man. He’s up front and he likes to give whatever his knowledge is. He’s always there.” Previously, David has led the Australian T20I team and Indian Premier League (IPL) squad Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The dashing southpaw helped SRH lift the coveted trophy in the 2016 edition of the IPL.
