The southpaw sustained this damage while playing the game against the Rangpur Riders. He did not open the innings and instead came to bat at number three in the game. He has been doing a great job on the field as he clubbed an unbeaten 36-ball 61 in the game.

This innings, along with a 43-ball 70 from Liton Das, helped the Sixers register their second win of the tournament. David was just as brilliant with his leadership skills which were great to watch. He also smashed Chris Gayle for 14 runs in only three balls by turning right-handed in the middle of the innings.
