Erin Holland Makes A Request To Rashid Khan Regarding Ben Cutting

The Afghanistan Premier League is going to commence in a few days and after a highly spirited performance in the Asia Cup 2018, a lot of their Afghan players will be keen to pull off good performances. One among those would certainly be Rashid Khan, who recently escalated to the numero uno position in the latest ODI rankings for all-rounders.

Rashid also stands second in the list of bowlers in ODI rankings and is on top of the bowlers’ rankings in T20Is. He shared his elation after this remarkable achievement on Twitter and popular Australian anchor and model Erin Holland congratulated him. Erin Holland also happens to be the girlfriend of all-rounder Ben Cutting, who played a lot of cricket with Rashid Khan in the IPL for Sunrisers.

Erin also made a cheeky request to the young all-rounder to take care of her fiancee by not bowling at him too much. Cutting will be representing the Nangarhar Leopards in the APL 2018 whilst Rashid is the icon player for the Kabul franchise.

Taking to Twitter, Holland wrote, “So happy for you Rashid! Look after (Ben) Cutting for me (maybe don’t bowl him out too much please) in the APL 2018”.

Ever since the emergence of the T20 leagues, the fate of various national sides in the world has changed and with the exact motive, APL will be commencing from 5th October. The player draft was conducted a couple weeks ago and the organizers have done a great job in roping a few big names from the fraternity.

Chris Gayle, Shahid Afridi, Colin Munro, Brendon McCullum, Ryan ten Doeschate, Thisara Perera, Andre Russell and others will be in action for their respective franchises. This is a huge tournament for the players like Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, Asghar Afghan, Mohammad Shahzad and the other senior Afghan players, who are desperate to prepare a competitive squad for the World Cup next year.
