As the T20 World Cup 2021 is coming close with each passing day there has been an increase in the prediction game regarding the tournament as well. And when it comes to predictions online betting sites can’t be ignored, however, one of the most popular cricket betting brands is 10cric.com. They have one of the best cricket betting platforms in India, as they provide a user-friendly sportsbook filled with vivid cricket betting options in a safe and secure online environment.

The T20 World Cup will be commencing on October 17 and the final is scheduled to be played on November 14. The qualifiers will be played between October 17 and October 22 with only 4 teams out of 8 will be reaching the Super 12 stage. However, originally, one of the most popular cricket events was to be hosted in India for 2021, however, due to the unprecedented times of the COVID-19 wreaking havoc in the country this year, the BCCI and the ICC decided to shift the tournament to Oman and UAE.

Coming back to the predictions, let us try and figure out India’s 15-member squad for one of the popular ICC events of 2021. Even though the tournament will be played in UAE and Oman, the official host for the tournament is India itself.

The Men in Blue will be commencing their campaign against arch-rivals, Pakistan, and a lot of fans are eagerly waiting for the game. India will be locking horns with Pakistan in Dubai on October 24. The Indian team can be termed favorites for the game s Pakistan is yet to beat India in a T20 World Cup match. The last time the arch-rivals locked horns with each other in a T20I, was during the previous edition of the T20 World Cup in 2016 at Eden Garden. It was a low-scoring game and India won it comfortably by 6 wickets.

Coming back to the squad prediction New Zealand and Australia have already finalized 15-member squads, and it will be interesting to predict a 15-member squad for the Indian team. Several Indian players select themselves as there has been no doubt regarding the selections of players like skipper Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Ravindra Jadeja.

While the selection of the veteran opener, Shikhar Dhawan isn’t guaranteed, he will be expected to stay in the UAE after the second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, but he is a consistent feature in the playing XI can’t be assured. The reason is Kohli’s statement of him to open the innings with Rohit in the T20 World Cup earlier this year during the England series.

Kohli gave us a teaser of that in the first phase of the IPL 2021 when he opened for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) alongside Devdutt Padikkal. However, the team management will be taking the final call based on the performances in the second phase, which will be played at the same venue ahead of the T20 World Cup. India will also look to include Ishan Kishan as a backup wicket-keeper for Pant.

The Indian team management needs to define a specific role for Hardik. He is known for creating balance for the Indian team especially when he delivers both with bat and ball. But ever since he has recovered from the operation of his back, Hardik hasn’t been bowling consistently to given an assurance to the team management. However, he did bowl some decent spells in the Sri Lanka series in July.

During the second phase of the IPL 2021, the Indian team management will be closely monitoring Hardik’s workload and performance while playing for the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the major reason behind the same is his below-par performance in the recent series with the bat against Sri Lanka. In the spin department, Rahul Chahar, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Ravindra Jadeja will be epeted to be preferred, awhile Krunal Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav likely to miss out.

Bumrah will be the fast bowling spearhead while he could be supported by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shardul Thakur as they also bring in a lot of value addition with the bat as well. However, the selector might have a headache choosing between Shardul and Deepak Chahar.

Here is India’s probable 15-mmeber squad for T20 World Cup 2021:

Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishan Kishan, Washington Sundar
