During the 24th match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Bengaluru, Chennai Super Kings’ Dwayne Bravo bowled an intriguing last over which saw him going for 14 runs but affecting three dismissals as well.

After Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and put the home team in to bat, the Royal Challengers lost their captain Virat Kohli in the fifth over. AB de Villiers, who replaced Kohli in the middle, went berserk from the word go to the extent that he seemed unstoppable. An innings full of dominance saw him score his 25th IPL half-century.

There was a time in the match when the Royal Challengers looked set to cross the 200-run mark. Eventually they did so, but not in a manner in which they would have liked.

Negi was nowhere in the frame.

Dwayne Bravo was called upon to bowl the last bowler. The talented all-rounder beat Pawan Negi on the first delivery. However, an attempt to run the single saw Colin de Grandhomme found wanting against Dhoni’s throw. Another run-out followed on the next delivery as Pawan Negi took the long walk back to the pavilion.

On the next ball, Umesh Yadav hit a shot straight to Sam Billings at deep midwicket. Sundar hit a six and a four on the fourth and the last ball of the over as RCB accumulated 14 runs from the over. Watch the full video:
