Rejuvenated Rajasthan Royals team now travels eastwards to face Kolkata Knight Riders at their grand home stadium, Eden Gardens, Kolkata. After picking up a win over Mumbai Indians at Wankhede, RR will be now eager to the upset the qualifying chances of Kolkata Knight Riders. A win here will help any team a long way as both the teams are locked on the same amount of points. With the stage tournament is in, every match is a knock-out. Here are the probable playing XI –

Rajasthan Royals

After staring down the barrel for quite a time, the wins against Kings XI Punjab, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians will definitely boost the Rajasthan Royals team. This away match will be a crucial match for them.

Rajasthan Royals

In the last match, Jos Buttler scored his consecutive fifth IPL Fifty and almost one-handedly took RR past MI. He has been in an incredible form ever since he has started opening for RR and is now looking at the record of six consecutive fifties.

Royals tried D’Arcy Short at the top with Jos Buttler. But he could not go on to score big. D’Arcy Short and Dhawqal Kulkarni were brought back in the team. Probable change for this match is Ben Laughlin/Ish Sodhi for Short.

Probable XI-

Ajinkya Rahane (c), Dhawal Kulkarni, Stuart Binny, Jos Buttler (wk), Jaydev Unadkat, Ben Stokes, Sanju Samson, Krishnappa Gowtham, Shreyas Gopal, D Arcy Short/Ish Sodhi/Ben Laughlin, Jofra Archer

Kolkata Knight Riders –

KKR had no clue about how to defeat Mumbai Indians and have gone on to lose eight consecutive matches against the franchise. But keeping the Mumbai ghost aside, KKR stormed in the match against Punjab and managed to score the highest total of the IPL 2018.

Kolkata Knight Riders

Despite the score of mammoth 240-plus, KKR could not get their net run-rate to skyrocket since Punjab gave a brilliant fight. Now they will be tested against the resilient Rajasthan team.

In the last match, KKR had brought in the Windies bowler Javon Searles. He was too expensive and is likely to miss out on this match. Tom Curran is likely to come back.

Playing XI –

Dinesh Karthik (c & wk), Piyush Chawla, Robin Uthappa, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Chris Lynn, Kuldeep Yadav, Nitish Rana, Javon Searles/Tom Curran, Prasidh Krishna, Shubman Gill
