3.Virat Kohli
The Royal Challengers Bangalore captain struggled to find the boundary ropes in the first match and took the backseat to watch ABD go berserk at the striker’s end. Kohli was bowled by a part-time bowler Nitish Rana. The embarrassment was that Kohli got yorked by Rana and lost his middle stump.
As the action returns to a familiar home venue for Kohli he will be fully focussed on delivering his best for the franchise. Virat is returning to the action after the break he took from the Nidahas Trophy.
4. Another KL Rahul Blitz
In the first match of Punjab, they had to chase the total of 167. The total was not an out-of-the-reach one but it still demanded some getting. However, Delhi Daredevils were blown away as KL Rahul laid his teeth into the bowling. He smacked Amit Mishra out of the attack.
Eventually, KL Rahul got to his fifty in only 14 balls. It became the fastest fifty in the IPL history. The target became quite simple for KXIP since then. How will he go against RCB opening bowlers will be exciting.
5.Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar
RCB over the years braved out many matches on the little fingers of Yuzvendra Chahal. The leg-spinner is an astute student of the game and developed himself excellently well to emerge as India’s lead spinner in the limited overs cricket. The Chessmaster plays with the mind of opposing batsman and more often than not thinks the batsman out.
In the last match, both were hammered for 78 runs in their 7 overs. The duo will be eager to make a comeback.
