During the 41st match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at Kolkata, Mumbai Indians’ Ben Cutting and Krunal Pandya scored 22 runs to end the innings on a high note.

Dinesh Karthik , captain of Kolkata Knight Riders, had won the toss and chose to field. Kolkata Knight Riders had included Rinku Singh and Tom Curran into their playing eleven in place of Shubman Gill and Mitchell Johnson. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians fielded an unchanged playing eleven.

Mumbai Indians scored 22 runs in the last over.

After a considerable good start, Mumbai Indians’ innings was bolstered by Ishan Kishan’s third IPL half-century. Having scored 62 (21), the 19-year old left-hand wicket-keeper batsman changed the course of the match on his own.

Karthik called in Piyush Chawla to bowl the last over which in itself was an arguable decision. On the first delivery of the over, Ben Cutting his a towering six over long-on. Chawla shortened his length on the following delivery, against which Cutting hit a six over deep midwicket. Cutting followed it up with a smashing four between the long-on and deep mid-wicket.

On the penultimate delivery of the over, Cutting ended up giving a catch to Andre Russell. However, on the last ball, Krunal Pandya pulled a Chawla delivery over deep mid-wicket for his first six. Watch the videos:
