During the second Qualifier of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Kolkata, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Rashid Khan arrived in style as he hit a couple of sixes in the over he came out to bat.
Earlier Dinesh Karthik, captain of Kolkata Knight Riders, had won the toss and chose to field. Kolkata Knight Riders made a solitary change to their playing eleven, bringing in Shivam Mavi in place of Javon Searles. The change means that they are playing with only three overseas players. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad made three changes to their playing eleven. Wriddhiman Saha, Deepak Hooda and Khaleel Ahmed were included in the squad in place of Sreevats Goswami, Manish Pandey and Sandeep Sharma.
Rashid Khan came out to bat at No. 9 in the penultimate over of the innings. Shivam Mavi, who opened the bowling for the Knight Riders, was bowling his last over.
On the first delivery of the over, Yusuf Pathan’s attempt to clear long-off saw him slicing the ball to Piyush Chawla at sweeper over. He scored 3 (7). Watch the video:

On the third ball of the over, Rashid Khan stepped out to hit the ball on the off-side. Had Chawla been on the boundary, the ball would have went straight to him. As the fielder was way inside the boundary, the ball lobbed off his hands for a six. Watch the video:

On the last ball of the over, Mavi bowled a full and wide delivery which was hit by Rashid Khan in the same region. However, this time the ball had been hit comfortably over he fielder for another six. Watch the video:
