Chennai Super Kings have made their comeback after two years in IPL after the spot-fixing ban. But things have taken a tough turn with a lot of players missing their game due to injuries. Also, CSK had to shift their ho,e ground from Chennai Chepauk stadium to Pune pertaining to the Cauvery dispute. That didn’t stop CSK from giving a good performance in the IPL starting just losing a single match till date.

Though all other franchises have given equal importance to young and experienced players, CSK has given more likes to their experienced players retaining Dhoni, Raina and Jadeja. Though the yellow team did robe in the young African pacer, Lungi Ngidi with a base price of 50 lakhs INR. Ngidi had given a stellar performance against India in the recently concluded India South Africa test series.

Ngidi revealed on social media that things were not same for him and his family always. They previously did sell peanuts on the roadside for a living.

“Fun fact: There was a stage my brothers and I used to sit and sell peanuts on the side of the road,” Ngidi tweeted from his account.

Ngidi sadly could not continue for CSK as his father passed away suddenly and he had to leave the tournament midway. He also shared his harassment on Indian Airport while getting back to South Africa. He was subjected to strip search. Though no confirmation is made about the airport.

CSK till date has given nail-biting clinical performances only loosing to Ashwin’s Punjab in last game though Dhoni played one of his best innings ever in T20 scoring 74. Dhoni is dealing with a severe back injury and pain and no further details have been made by the team Raina and Faf Du Plessis are already ruled out due to injury issues. CSK men will now take on Rajasthan Royals in their next game on April 20
