During the 23rd match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Mumbai, Mumbai Indians’ bowlers put in a sensational performance to bundle out Sunrisers Hyderabad for 118-10 in 18.4 overs.
After Rohit Sharma won the toss and put the opposition in to bat, Sunrisers lost wickets at regular intervals. Despite having a handsome run rate, no batsman from Sunrisers lasted long enough to play a substantial innings.
At the end of the powerplay, the Sunrisers had scored 51-4. At the halfway mark, the equation had worsened to 82-5. With every over or two, Sunrisers kept losing wickets as if there was no other motive to their batting.
What also affected their innings was a couple of run-outs, which didn’t help their case at all. Kane Williamson, who opened the batting alongside Shikhar Dhawan, top-scored for the Sunrisers with 29 (21). His innings was comprised of five fours and five sixes. For Mumbai Indians, with bowling figures of 3-0-15-2, Mayank Markande was the pick of their bowlers.

Going pear-shaped for #SRH. Pandey was looking assured while he lasted. But this hasn’t been his #IPL thus far. Need him to fire consistently, for he was their answer to middle-order woes. #MIvSRH

Great sportsmanship on display by Kane Williamson who did not wait for the umpire's decision and chose to walk. 👏👏#CricketMeriJaan #MumbaiIndians #MIvSRH

Manish Pandey said in South Africa that he "needs to do more with opportunities given". About two months later, that statement still holds true. #MIvSRH #IPL2018

Finally! Great to see @MohammadNabi007 in @SunRisers. Will be a great foil for @rashidkhan_19 & @Sah75official esp against left handers. & his batting 👍🏻! Sorry about @BillyJS94's finger. Just hoping 8 isn't too high for Rashid if SRH lose a few early 🙈 #MIvSRH #SelectDugout
