RCB started their innings steadily but lost the plot with the introduction of spin. Shreyas Gopal dismissed Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Shimron Hetmyer in a span of three overs. Parthiv Patel held the one end tight and scored his twelfth fifty in the Indian Premier League. Stoinis gave him good support with an unbeaten 31 and took Bengaluru’s total to 158/4.
