Rajasthan Royals will host table toppers Chennai Super Kings in the 25th match of the Indian Premier League 2019 in Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Both teams are at different ends of the Points Table. They have previously faced each other in IPL 2019, where Chennai held their nerve to win the close-fought match by eight runs. Rajasthan is coming from a humiliating defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders in their last match while Chennai defeated KKR yesterday to sit top of the tree.

RR played Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, where they found it tough to score runs. Steve Smith scored an unbeaten half-century but that didn’t help Rajasthan’s cause. Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine thrashed Rajasthan bowlers in all corners of the park to give them a blazing start. KKR cruised to the target in 13.5 overs with eight wickets in hand.

Rajasthan had a poor day with ball in hand. Dhawal Kulkarni and Sudhesan Midhun leaked 10 runs per over. Team management can stick to the same playing XI if they opt to back them to come back hard against Chennai.

Probable XI: Ajinkya Rahane (C), Jos Buttler, Steve Smith, Rahul Tripathi, Ben Stokes, Prashant Chopra, Krishnappa Gowtham, Jofra Archer, Shreyas Gopal, Dhawal Kulkarni, Sudhesan Midhun.
