Virat Kohli failed against Mumbai

Virat Kohli (RCB)

Bengaluru’s skipper wasn’t at his usual best against Mumbai Indians. Kohli started his innings with a four off his first ball but then didn’t look comfortable at crease throughout his stay. Jason Behrendorff cut short his innings for right runs, which came in nine balls.

Krunal Pandya (MI)

Senior Pandya had an indifferent outing in comparison to his younger brother. Krunal came to bowl just one over where he gave 10 runs. His batting was lengthier than his bowling as he was promoted to number five. He was not even middling the ball and RCB managed to put the pressure back on Mumbai with regular dot balls. His ugly stay at the crease ended for 11 runs, which came in 21 balls.

Umesh Yadav (RCB)

The spearhead of Bengaluru bowling lineup was not at his best. He came to open the bowling and gave several freebies to openers. As a result, Mumbai got off to a flier. Umesh bowled just three overs, where he failed to take even a single wicket. He conceded 34 runs inside the powerplay and couldn’t give Bengaluru a good start with the ball.
