Sam Billings replaced Dhoni but couldn’t replicate on his heriocs

Young English wicketkeeper-batsman replaced MS Dhoni in the squad but he couldn’t fill the big boots. Sam Billings was playing his first game of this IPL season and didn’t look comfortable at all during his innings. He came to bat at number six and his stay at the crease lasted just four balls. Khaleel Ahmed dismissed him for a duck.

Kane Williamson (SRH)

Kiwi skipper is coming from an injury but he isn’t enjoying his time in the middle at all. Kane Williamson came after David Warner’s wicket and but he couldn’t consolidate on a good foundation laid by the openers. Williamson got out caught and bowled by Imran Tahir after scoring just three runs in five balls.

Vijay Shankar (SRH)

Though he picked a wicket with the ball but didn’t bat a long innings that he would like to play. Vijay Shankar must be filled with confidence after finding a place in the World Cup squad as a specialist but he failed to translate it in the game against Chennai. Imran Tahir dismissed him for seven runs.
