Welcome to Match 42 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) face Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. In spite of an extremely disappointing start to the IPL, RCB has found a bit of momentum going their way as they come into this match on the back of two successive wins.

Punjab on the other hand, have had a mixed bag of fortunes so far with five wins and five losses in total. The two teams have already met before this season, which happened to be RCB’s first win of the 2019 edition. Virat Kohli captains the RCB unit, while KXIP is under Ravichandran Ashwin.

#5 Dale Steyn

He was probably the trump card RCB were waiting for. With the arrival of Steyn, they look like a more dangerous and composed bowling unit. The power play overs are not easy to get away with from an opponent’s point of view. In the two matches that he has played so season, he has already snared 4 wickets. His beautiful unplayable ball to Suresh Raina in the last match was one of the highlights of this IPL. His presence has also made skipper Virat Kohli much more confident in defending scores.
