Both the teams had a bad start to the 2019 season, RCB very blown away like a pack of cards by the defending champs CSK (Chennai Super Kings) and Mumbai Indians couldn’t do much as DC (Delhi Capitals) batsmen set a score which MI (Mumbai Indians) couldn’t chase.

RCB needs to bounce back, the win in this match against a good team like Mumbai Indians it will do a world of good things to Virat Kohli and his men.

For Virat Kohli, his main problem lies in the batting department. His top order failed to put up runs on the board, that’s why they lost the opening game on their home ground.

Any team cant win matches when they put up only 70 runs on the board. RCB also failed to select playing eleven according to the surface, the pitch was slow that’s why CSK had 5 spinning options in their team.

But RCB had only Yuvendra Chahal and Moeen Ali.  Apart from their 8 overs, it was easy for CSK to chase down the 71 run target. Chahal did a good job by removing Watson for a duck, with Moeen Ali and Siddharth Kaul picked up 1 wicket each to their name.

But lack of spin options and poor batting hurt RCB in their first game. Virat will want to correct these mistakes in tomorrow’s game.

Probable XI: Parthiv Patel (WK), Virat Kohli (C), Moeen Ali, AB de Villiers, Shimron Hetmyer, Shivam Dubey, Colin de Grandhomme, Umesh Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Mohammad Siraj.

Mumbai Indians (MI)

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians had a poor bowling display against DC (Delhi Capitals). Their main bowlers like Bumrah, Pollard, McClenaghan, and others went for plenty.

Rishab Pant, the future star took on the attack against the weak MI bowlers and posted 213 runs in their 20 overs. Rohit Sharma will want their team to work collectively when these two teams meet tomorrow. Jasprit Bumrah injured his shoulder during the game against Delhi and it will be interesting to see whether he comes to play or not. Though Bumrah’s scans were positive, Mumbai team management will not like to take any unnecessary risk with him.
