The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction for the upcoming edition of 2021 has started in Chennai and it will be engrossing to see how each of the teams finally shapes up. Here is what Punjab Kings (PBKS) is up to in the auctions.

#1 Dawid Malan – ₹1.5 Crores
Punjab Kings managed to steal the no.1 T20I batsman, Dawid Malan for just ₹1.5 Crores during the auction. He will be expected to make his debut in the cash-rich league this season.’
#2 Jhye Richardson – ₹14 crores
The cunning fast bowler from Australia, Jhye Richardson was bought for as many as ₹14 crores by the new transformed PBKS. He can be a lethal option for them along with Mohammed Shami
#3 Shahrukh Khan – ₹5.25 crores
The Tamil Nadu batsman, Shahrukh Khan, who played a crucial role in his team winning the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy earlier this year, was bought for a whopping price of ₹5.25 crores by Punjab Kings.
#4 – Riley Meredith – ₹8 Crores
Australia’s Riley Meredith sparked a bidding war between Punjab and Delhi. Eventually, PBKS won it and bought pacer for ₹8 Crore! IKt will be his maiden IPL season.
#5 – Moises Henriques – ₹4.2 Crores
The veteran Australian all-rounder, Moises Henriques managed to attract bids from Punjab and RCB. He was eventually bought by Punjab for ₹4.2 Crores.
#6 – Fabien Allen – ₹75 Lakhs
The highly-rated all-rounder from West Indies, Fabian Allen was bought by PBKS for just ₹75 lakhs.
#7 – Jalaj Saxena – ₹30 Lakhs
Jalaj Saxena was bought by Punjab at ₹30 lakhs.
#8 – Utkarsh Singh – ₹20 Lakhs
Utkarsh Singh was bought by Punjab for ₹20 lakhs.
#9 – Saurabh Kumar – ₹20 Lakhs
Saurabh Kumar was bought by Punjab for ₹20 lakhs.
