Openers
KL Rahul and Rahul Tripathi
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper, KL Rahul has reached the 500-runs mark for the fifth consecutive year. The right-hander managed to smash a couple of centuries in the span of 15 matches that he played in IPL 2022. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batter, Rahul Tripathi was demoted in terms of the batting position in his team but showed an unreal combination of consistency and firepower towards the mid-end of the innings. He amassed 413 runs in 14 games this season.
Middle-order
Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya
Rajasthan Royals (RR) skipper, Sanju Samson will be leading the team in the grand finale at the iconic Ahmedabad stadium. The right-hander had maintained a strike rate of almost 150 while batting in crunch situations. It was a surprising pick by Harsha Bhogle as Suryakumar Yadav SKY did not feature in half of the encounters of MI due to injury. But in the limited games, SKY amassed 303 runs in 8 games at an average of 43+.
