The Indian Premier League (IPL) mega-auction for the upcoming edition of 2022 has started in Bengaluru and it will be engrossing to see how each of the teams finally shapes up. Here is what the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are up to in the auctions.

Day 1
#1 Quinton de Kock – ₹6.75 crores
The wicketkeeper batter, Quinton de Kock was up for grabs and Lucknow Super Giant has started the bidding. Defending champions Chennai Super Kings have joined the bidding war. Mumbai Indians have decided to bid for their former opening batter. And Lucknow Super Giants eventually managed to win the bidding war as they bought Quinton de Kock for ₹6.75 crores.
# Manish Pandey – ₹4.6 crores
Manish Pandey was the first buy in the IPL 2022 auction after the break. Sunrisers Hyderabad started the bid for him with Delhi Capitals coming in the race to get hands-on with the player. Lucknow Super Giants joined the bidding war mid-way with Delhi Capitals. And Manish Pandey was eventually was bought by the Lucknow Super Giants For ₹4.6 Crores.
#3 Jason Holder – ₹8.75 crores
The West Indies all-rounder, Jason Holder was up for grabs and as expected Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians decided to go big for him. A very intense war went on with Rajasthan Royals have joined the race. Lucknow Super Giants again joined mid-way and bought the services of Jason Holder for ₹8.75 crores.
#4 Deepak Hooda – ₹5.75 Crores
Deepak Hooda was expected to fetch big numbers in the IPL 2022 mega auction and Rajasthan Royals started the bidding for him. RCB had decided to go for him and they got engaged in a bidding war with Royals. Against Lucknow, Super Giants joined mid-way and eventually bought the services of Deepak Hooda For ₹5.75 Crores.
#5 Krunal Pandya – ₹8.25 Crores
The senior Pandya brother went under the hammer and he ignited a bidding war between Punjab Kings and Chennai Super Kings joining them in the race. Both teams look determined to buy the services of Krunal Pandya here. Lucknow Super Giants had later joined the race and so was Sunrisers Hyderabad. Eventually, Lucknow Super Giants managed to sin Krunal Pandya For ₹8.25 Crores.
#5 Mark Wood – ₹7.5 Crores
The fiery English pacer, Mark Wood had triggered a bidding war between multiple teams. Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians were looking to be the front runners to buy the fast bowler, but in the end, LSG managed to sign Mark Wood for ₹7.5 crores.
#6 Avesh Khan – ₹10 Crores
The promising pacer, Avesh Khan was expected to grab a lot of attention during the IPL 2022 mega-auction and Lucknow Super Giants wasted no time in getting his services. Mumbai Indians and CSK also joined in the race. As expected, Avesh Khan has hit the jackpot and he was signed by Lucknow Super Giants for a whopping ₹10 Crores.
#7 Ankit Singh Rajpoot – ₹50 Lakhs
The former RR pacer, Ankit Singh Rajpoot went under the hammer and Lucknow Super Giants make the first effort to sign the pacer. Rajasthan Royals have also entered the race to sign him back, but LSG managed to buy the services of the pacer for ₹50 Lakhs.
