India’s young wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan represents Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He joined the franchise in 2018 and, since then, has been an indispensable part of the five-time champions. The 22-year-old is a jovial personality outside the cricket field and he showcased his fun side as he went live on the Instagram handle of Mumbai Indians.

During the live session, Ishan unveiled a lot of dressing room secrets of Mumbai Indians and answered some fun questions related to the players. When he was questioned regarding the toughest bowler he has faced in the Mumbai Indians contingent, Kishan replied taking the names of Jasprit Bumrah and Krunal Pandya.

While the name of Bumrah was on the expected lines, Krunal’s inclusion came as a surprise for many cricket fans. Notably, Krunal hasn’t been known for spinning his delivery as he relies on his speed variations to rattle the opposition batters. Elaborating his answer, Ishan revealed that Krunal bowls very slow in nets and sometimes he has to swing his bat twice till the time balls reach him.

Ishan had heard saying, “Jasprit Bumrah and Krunal Pandya. Because in the nets, Krunal bowls so slow that I can’t even imagine. I swing my bat twice till the time the ball comes!”

Further, Ishan labeled Bumrah as the shyest playing in the MI squad. The 22-year-old revealed that though Bumrah isn’t exactly shy, he is hardly seen apart from the practice sessions or matches. Ishan claimed that Bumrah doesn’t like coming to the parties and even if he does, it is just for a few minutes.

Ishan Kishan revealed, “I think no one is shy in that team, but I think the one you get to see the least is Jasprit Bumrah. You will only see him while playing matches. That’s it and then he’s lost. He doesn’t come for any team party also and even if he comes, it’ll only be for five minutes.”
