Kohli has been doing well with both the bat and the captaincy. He is currently the No.1 batsman in the world in Tests and ODIs whereas ninth in T20s. The 31-year-old has amassed over 21,000 international runs across formats after making his debut in 2008 and has hit 70 centuries so far. He averages above 50 in across formats and has been one of India’s best match-winning batsmen as well.

Kamran Akmal, who last represented Pakistan in 2017, has been in the news recently for misbehaving with the selectors for not giving him a chance to return. Last year, he severely criticised Pakistan team after they failed to do well in the 50-over World Cup in England and even asked Imran Khan, the current prime minister of Pakistan, to take actions over non-performance as well.

In fact, last month, he vented his anger over not getting picked and also asked whether he would have to ask the PM for this. He shared that despite performing in the domestic circuit, he has been overlooking by the selectors.

Recently, Kamran Akmal, who played his last match for Central Punjab in his country’s Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, backed his brother Umar Akmal after he faced a ban for allegedly misbehaving during a fitness test, citing he was joking and did not have any intention to offend anybody. Kamran himself was also in a spot of bother as he also skipped two fitness tests and ultimately failed when appeared for it finally.
