Former English skipper Michael Vaughan is celebrating his 44th birthday on Tuesday, as a result of that the wishes are pouring in for him from across the world. But he wouldn’t even have thought of being lashed out by the Indian fans on the social media on his special day. However, his actions are only responsible for the same. Vaughan hilariously clicked a selfie with a goat and referred it to Virat Kohli which hasn’t gone down well with anyone back in India.

The birthday boy’s intentions weren’t wrong though it seems as he just wanted to praise the Indian skipper which he’ been doing promptly after Kohli scores a century in the ongoing Windies ODI series. After his tons in the second and third game, Vaughan used the goat’s smiley to call him the ‘Greatest of All Time’ (G.O.A.T).

On his birthday morning, Michael Vaughan clicked a birthday selfie with a real goat and posted it on his Facebook account with a caption which read, “Morning All…. Birthday selfie with Virat !!! While the former England cricketer just wanted to show his humorous side with the post, it seems that his move has come down hard at him.

Kohli is scaling new heights with every passing day but perhaps calling the real goat as Virat wasn’t the right way to portray the Indian run-machine. It goes without saying Vaughan triggered the feelings of the Indian fans who lashed out at him. While there were a few sensible responses, who understood the feelings of the cricketer, few literally ruined the cricketer’s birthday by coming down hard at him. It seems that Vaughan will now have to come up with an explanation on the same.
