Former cricketers Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer have been involved in Twitter banter for a long time now. The battle started when Michael Vaughan predicted Australia will thrash India by 4-0 in the Test series. However, India made a stunning comeback in the series to win it by 2-1 despite losing the first Test.

India, then, locked horns against England in the home series and came victorious by defeating the visitors by 3-1 after conceding the first Test in Chennai. Both former players have been engaged in the Twitter war since then and Jaffer seems to be winning the majority of those arguments.

Vaughan was recently asked about one former cricketer whom he wants to block during a video interview. He took Jaffer’s name while replying to this question.

Jaffer took no time in replying back to this in his own style. He wrote, “Me and my boys after knowing Michael Vaughan wants to block me.” He put Team India’s picture in that tweet as well where they were celebrating Test series win in England back in 2007.

Jaffer featured in that series, which happens to be the last time Team India defeated England in their home ground. Vaughan was leading that English team back then. Jaffer played a crucial role in that win as he scored a half-century in the lone Test that India won.
