India and Delhi Daredevils’ batsman, Rishabh Pant, once again displayed his aggressive batting skills. Pant is known for scoring quick runs. He follows the book of ‘See Ball, Hit Ball’, wherein you do not let the stature of the opposition bowler come into play.
Captain of Gujarat Lions, Suresh Raina, gave the ball to James Faulkner to bowl the 11th over. A return of 24 runs from that over was something that must have surprised both Raina and Faulkner.
Pant scored a boundary through the square leg region on the first delivery. Faulkner followed it up with a slower delivery, only to watch it sail over the mid-wicket region for a six. Pant picked a leg bye on the next delivery and returned back to the crease for the last two deliveries after Sanju Samson ran a single.
The final two deliveries were hammered for a six each by Pant to increase the tally to 24 runs in six balls. Watch the full video:
