Notably, Powar coached the team before WV Raman in 2018 but he had stepped down after a rift with Mithali Raj, the Team India ODI captain. After him, WV Raman took the responsibility and had a fair share of success with the Indian Women. The team has reached the final of the T20 World Cup last year as well.
