Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) star spinner Rashid Khan congratulated Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) player Suresh Raina after Raina achieved an incredible feat in Indian Premier League (IPL) on Saturday. However, CSK started their journey in this season with a comfortable seven-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Dhoni elected to field first after winning the toss. His decision to bowl first on a sluggish Chepauk track became successful as the RCB batsmen collapsed in front of CSK’s bowling. Even the heavyweight batsmen likes of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers also failed to score as they were all out for a mere total of 70. Harbhajan Singh, Imran Tahir and Ravindra Jadeja collectively picked up 8 wickets and dismantled RCB.

While Harbhajan picked up the top 3 batsmen for 20, Imran Tahir picked up other 3 batsmen for 9 and Jadeja bagged 2 for 15. While chasing, CSK batsmen too struggled as in-form Shane Watson departed for a duck. However, they survived and managed to win in the 18th over at the loss of three wickets.

After the win, Suresh Raina took to Twitter and expressed his delight for winning the game. However, Rashid Khan replied Suresh Raina’s tweet and congratulated him for the feat. Suresh Raina became the first cricketer to score 5,000 IPL runs in his 19-run knock against the RCB. “Many many congratulations 5000 Runs bhai jan,” said Rashid wrote. Raina too replied, writing, “Thanks bhai jaan.”
