Gujarat Titans (GT) leg-spinner, Rashid Khan is known for his bowling exploits but there have been a plethora of occasions when he has helped his team with his batting skills as well. A similar thing happened in the ongoing match between GT and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), as Titans’ stand-in skipper, Rasid Khan entertained the crowd with his wristy shots while facing Chris Jordan.

After losing the first four out of five games they have played in the IPL 2022, Chennai Super Kings seem to have started their revival. They won their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore and are in a strong position against Gujarat Titans as well. Gujarat Titans won the toss and asked CSK to bat first.

The team lost two wickets on a total of 32 runs but Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ambati Rayudu made a brilliant partnership of 92 runs for the third wicket and as a result, they reached a respectable total of 169/5 in their quota of 20 overs.

During the chase, the Titans kept on losing the wickets at regular intervals, and barring David Miller, none of the GT batters failed to make a substantial score. GT was reeling at 122/5 at the end of the 17th over requiring 48 runs off the last three overs and then Rashid Khan decided to unleash himself.

Chris Jordan came out to bowl the 18th over and Rashid Khan welcomed him with a huge six over deep mid-wicket with his wristy hands. He smashed a couple of more sixes in the over one over the cover-point region and the other one was like a slingshot over the wide long-on region.
