Gujarat Titans have played quite well in their debut season of IPL 2022 so far as they have been unbeaten in three matches they have played so far and Hardik Pandya’s captaincy was one of the positives as well. And, Ravi Shastri has lauded Hardik Pandya saying that he can lead a team very well as well.

“He is prepared to bowl with the new ball, he is prepared to bat at No.4. It tells you he is fit, he is very clear in his mind, and the space he is in now is brilliant. Right before this IPL, the question that was asked about a lot of young captains – the word was KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant. Add Hardik Pandya. Don’t take your eye off the ball there guys. This guy can lead a side. You can see there is something between the ears that has clicked, that is making him focus in that fashion. Even the way he is marshalling his resources in the field, a very good sign,” Ravi Shastri said on ESPNcricinfo.
Gujarat Titans are currently placed at the second position in the points table with six points from three games as well. And, Hardik Pandya was quite impressed with Shubman Gill, who scored a blitzy 96 and all-rounder Rahul Tewatia, who hit two sixes in the final two deliveries to help the Titans register a nail-biting win.

“With the kind of ups and downs that happen, I have become neutral. Hats off to Tewatia. It is difficult to go out there and hit, and to do it under this pressure is great. It was Kings’ game, I have sympathy for them. Gill is telling everybody that he is there. A lot of credit goes to Sai as well for that partnership. It kept us in the game. I am going to get better with every game. I am getting tired as I’m not used to bowling four overs. But I’m getting better,” Hardik Pandya said at the post-match presentation.
