Star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has started his quarantine on Monday ahead of Team India’s tour of the UK. Currently, Indian players are quarantined in Mumbai before leaving for the UK in the first week of June. Jadeja shared a mirror selfie on Instagram revealing his quarantine has begun in Mumbai.

Team India will leave for England on June 2 to participate in the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship Final against New Zealand in Southampton, starting from June 18.

Later on, India will lock horns against England in a mouthwatering five-match Test series starting in August.

Before starting the quarantine, every player was expected to go through three Covid-19 negative tests. Right now, men’s, as well as women’s cricketers, are quarantined strictly in Mumbai for two weeks.
After reaching England, the India men’s team would serve a 10-day quarantine in a facility on the premises of the Rose Bowl stadium in Southampton. However, players would be allowed to train and practice.
The Test series between India and England will start on August 4 at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham. The second game would take place at Lord’s in London on August 12. The third match will be held at Headingley in Leeds, on August 25. The fourth game will be played at the Kennington Oval and the fifth Test at Old Trafford in Manchester.

Jadeja was part of the Chennai Super Kings squad in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) before it got suspended on May 4. The spin-bowling all-rounder scored 131 runs and picked six wickets in IPL 2021 and was vital in CSK’s success so far in the season.
BCCI suspended the league after the coronavirus breached into the bio-bubble and players were tested positive for the virus.
