Rishabh Pant Focuses on His Improvement Everyday

India wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant said on Wednesday said that he loves M.S. Dhoni and he is not at all bothered about the comparisons with the former India captain. However, he chooses to focus on his own game. After the World Cup, MS Dhoni made himself unavailable. In his absence, The selectors are looking a long-term option in Rishabh Pant.

“I just love him. I am focussing on my cricket and taking one match at a time. I am trying to improve everyday,” Pant said at an event here when he was asked about Dhoni.

On the other hand, Rishabh Pant said he is working really hard to win lots of games for India.

“The team played really well (in the West Indies). I am looking forward to improve myself and helping team India to win more matches.”

When he was asked about the South Africa series, he said: “We have practised really well and mindset is good. We will look to do well.”

Pant further said that there will be a home advantage, but added that the Proteas are also capable enough to win the matches.

“Our planning is going well. We will have home advantage but they are a good side,” Pant concluded.
