Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun has been a part of the Mumbai Indians squad for the last two years. Mumbai bought him for ₹30 lakh ahead of IPL 2022 but he didn’t get a single game. Even, he didn’t get to play last year also. While talking about that, the legendary Sachin Tendulkar has said his opinion doesn’t matter as the selection is up to the Mumbai Indians team management.

“This is a different question. What I am thinking or what I feel is not important. The season is already over,” Tendulkar said at a show ‘SachInsight’ when he was asked whether he would have liked to watch Arjun Tendulkar play this year.

However, Mumbai Indians have finished last in the IPL 2022 points table with just 4 wins in 14 matches as well. On social media, fans opined on this matter and they wanted to see Arjun Tendulkar when their fate was determined with about 4-5 matches still to go. But the think tank thought otherwise.

Sachin Tendulkar said, “And if we speak about selection, I have never involved myself in selection. I leave all these things to the (team) management because that is how I have always functioned.”

“And my conversation with Arjun has always been that the path is going to be challenging, it is going to be difficult. You started playing cricket because you are in love with cricket, continue to do so, continue to work hard and results will follow,” further added Sachin Tendulkar as well.
