Former Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi has said that Virat Kohli’s future will be destined depending on how he performs in the upcoming days. Kohli, who has taken a break from Inia’s West Indies and Zimbabwe series, will return in action in the upcoming Asia Cup, starting on August 27. However, ever since he has been out of form, especially after his poor show in IPL 2022 campaign with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), he has been heavily criticized because of his lean patch.

Although Virat Kohli has not scored a single hundred since November 2019, he was contributing well for both RCB and for India until the cash-rich league started this year as well. And now, after taking some break from international cricket, Virat Kohli will be hoping to get back to his usual destructive form in the upcoming Asia Cup campaign, which is all set to be played in the UAE.

Meanwhile, Team India’s tournament opener will be against the arch-rivals Pakistan on August 28. And, Virat Kohli has had a great history against them and he will try to start things off in a fashion. However, considering his recent form, many believe he is no longer an automatic starter in India’s lineup as well.
