Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has always been one of those cricketers, who have played with a lot of heart on a cricket field. Time and again he has shown his support for Indian armed forces and that is one of the reasons that fans also respect him a lot.

Gambhir has once again come up with a new initiative and this time it is nothing but a community kitchen. It is an initiative started by Gautam Gambhir’s foundation and its main aim is “Not to let anyone sleep hungry”. He took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the details of the kitchen, he tweeted, “Won World Cups, Won IPLs, beaten opponents. Now time 2 win hearts & beat hunger. Community Kitchen #1 by Gautam Gambhir Foundation.”

The Indian cricketer also shared further details of the community kitchen that will make sure that poor people don’t sleep hungry. He tweeted, “Compassion in my heart, a plate in my hand & a prayer on my lips ‘No one should sleep hungry’ #ggf #communitykitchen1”.

Seeing the series of tweets by Gautam Gambhir, SRK, who is the owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, the IPL team which is led by Gambhir, shared his hand for helping in the campaign on Twitter as well. He tweeted, “Let me know my Captain how I can be of use to ur initiative. Bless u”.

Gautam Gambhir was quick to reply to SRK for the same, he replied, “Many thanks Bhai, u r constantly with me in each & every helping dat GGF offers…learnt a lot from u about being generous yet humble.”

SRK’s gesture demonstrates the perfect example of ideal bond of a captain and an owner. If such celebrities took these great initiatives than ‘acche din’ are not so far away.
