Kolkata Knight Riders’ cricketer Sheldon Jackson was finding it difficult to find words to describe the beautiful gesture from the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), MS Dhoni towards him. Unarguably one of the most beloved cricketers of all time, Dhoni is well aware of the art of winning hearts both on and off the field.

A role model for many youngsters, MSD leaves no stone unturned in treating them with love and respect. In one of such touching moments, the veteran obliged Sheldon Jackson’s request by autographing his bat and gloves after Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) win over KKR in a high-scoring thriller by 18 runs to climb to the top of the IPL points table.

Jackson updated another story on his account where a wicket-keeping glove has the sign of his hero MS Dhoni on the corner.

This was not the first time in the season when any youngster or a player from the opponent team was seen beaming about getting a chance to meet their idol or capture an invaluable moment with MS Dhoni. The latter was seen interacting with the young Shahrukh Khan after CSK defeated Punjab Kings, while the Delhi Capitals’ fast bowler, who dismissed him for a duck, also shared a picture with him recently.
Rajasthan Royals’ pacer Chetan Sakariya also took to Instagram to share a heart-warming message for Dhoni, where he mentioned how standing next to the CSK skipper and playing alongside him was his “dream come true” moment.
