The veteran Indian opener, Shikhar Dhawan is known for his quirky stuff in the Indian dressing room and hence, he always takes to the field with a positive mindset. The southpaw with his amusing antics never fails to entertain his fans. An instance of this was seen in the third ODI against Zimbabwe where a fan asked for a jersey of Shikhar Dhawan and the way Dhawan replied tickled the funny bones of everyone.

Team India completed a clean-sweep against Zimbabwe with a 13-run win in the third of the series. While the first two games were completely dominated by India, the third match turned out to be a thriller as the Zimbabwe batsmen, in particular Sikandar Raza, looked all set to take his team over the line.

During the third game, there was a funny incident where a fan asks Shikhar Dhawan for his shirt and the batsman responded hilariously.

The Indian deputy skipper was sitting in the dressing room when the camera turned to a person who was holding a placard which read, “Shikhar, can I have your shirt?”

As soon as Shikhar Dhawan saw the placard, he started removing his t-shirt humorously. His teammates Ruturaj Gaikwad and KL Rahul were spotted laughing at the southpaw’s funny antic. Even the on-air commentator Alan Wilkins hilariously asked the cricketer to make a donation.

It is to note that Shikhar Dhawan was wearing Shardul Thakur’s jersey while batting and the reason for the same are unclear. As for the match, Dhawan couldn’t work his magic in the third game as he was dismissed by Brad Evans on just 40 runs for which he took a shocking 68 balls. However, team India won the match by 13 runs, it was not before a scare of losing the game because of the brilliant century inning by Sikandar Raza.
