  • Umesh Yadav also completed his 100 wickets in ODIs – his aggregate being 102 at 32.25 runs apiece in 71 ODIs. He became the 8th Indian pacer to complete feat in ODIs.   • Aaron Finch and David Warner built a partnership of 231 runs for the opening wicket and it was Australia’s highest opening partnership vs India in ODIs.
  • Warner scored his 10th ODI hundred in a winning cause in ODIs – his tally being 2915 runs at an average of 53.98 in 57 matches.
  • Warner becomes the first Australian player to score a century in his 100th ODI. Overall he is the 8th player to achieve this feat after Gordon Greenidge, Chris Cairns, Yousuf Youhana, Kumar Sangakkara, Chris Gayle, Marcus Trescothick, and Ramnaresh Sarwan.

  • Virat Kohli has managed to reach the total of 2008 runs at an average of 74.37 in 36 innings as a captain in ODIs and it is a record for the quickest to 2,000 runs as Captain in ODIs. He has surpassed AB de Villiers’ feat of reaching the milestone in 41 innings.
