Team India will take on Bangladesh in Delhi in the first T20 International on November 3. They will play two Test matches as well. However, before the series opener, the Delhi Police has been asked to tighten up the security after the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has received a threat which claimed an attack on the team.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) security agency, however, forwarded the letter to NIA which stated that India might face a deadly attack. The match will be played at the Arun Jaitley stadium on Sunday and the Delhi Police will soon step up.
As per the Time Now, the BCCI received an anonymous letter which claimed that the ‘All India Lashkar’ based out of Kozhikode is reportedly targeting the India captain Virat Kohli and the politicians who is all set to attend the game. Having said that, Kohli will not take part in the series.

However, This letter can be a hoax too like it was during India’s West Indies tour earlier this year. But no chance will be taken with the players as they will get high security and the whole stadium will be reviewed before the game as well. As far as the tour is concerned, Bangladesh players were on strike last week with their unfulfilled demands which included the pay hike.
However, later they called off the strike as BCB assured them to fulfil their 11-point demand. But their star all-round Shakib Al Hasan wouldn’t take part as he has been banned for 18 months. BCB will announce the T20I squad later in the week.
