“The last six years with the team have been some of the best years of my professional life. I have thoroughly enjoyed working in this environment with some of the best players in the world. It has also been an honour and a privilege to call some of the best coaching and support staff in world cricket my colleagues and I will miss being a part of this very special set up massively,” he was quoted as saying in a CSA media release.

“I want to thank my amazing wife and family for allowing me to go out and live my dream, which included spending long periods of time away from home for so long. Their love and unwavering support has meant everything to me and I look forward to spending more quality time at home with them going forward,” he further added.

Greg King further expressed his gratitude for embracing him and appreciated the chance he got.
