Ajinkya Rahane, the vice-captain of India in the longer format of the game has started practising for the upcoming two-Test series against Bangladesh after India thrashed South Africa by 3-0 earlier this month. In the three-match Test series against South Africa, Rahane scored 216 runs in four innings which included a century in the third Test in Ranchi. He brought up his 11th century in the Test, with 14 boundaries and one six to reach the three-figure. However, this was his first Test hundred at home since 2015.
