However, Andre Russell has been doing well with the bat while representing the KKR in the IPL. Moreover, his shots at the net session show that he is ready to take on the opponent as well. In a video shared by the franchise on social media, can be seen how Russell’s ball hits the chair and breaks it and creates a hole in it. The video has gone viral in no time on social media with the fans eager to see his such kind of batting even in the game too.

Notably, Andre Russell is the second-highest run-scorer for KKR this season with 227 runs in seven innings that he has played so far with a strike rate of 180.16 and an average of 45.40 as well. But, KKR are struggling to win matches and grab some points as well as they have now suffered four successive losses. They’re placed at the eighth position with six points in their name as well despite starting well in the tournament. They recently lost to Gujarat Titans in their last game as well.

After their last defeat to Gujarat Titans, Shreyas Iyer said: “Definitely the way we started in the powerplay while chasing and also the way we bowled in the powerplay as well (where the game was lost). We couldn’t have conceded that many runs when the wicket was doing a lot. The ball was nipping and the hard length was difficult to play. We lost it in the powerplay. I think 160-165 was a good score on this pitch, but we did really well to restrict them to under 160. The boys pulled it back really well after the powerplay with the way they came in and got the wickets. In this form of cricket you need to win close games only then you can climb up the ladder and lift the team spirit. We have lost four in a row and three were close. Definitely we come in with a lot of energy before the game. But unfortunately we are not able to execute the plans discussed in the team meetings. We are playing good cricket in bits and pieces. We haven’t played comprehensive cricket yet, just a matter of one game where we get the momentum from where we can keep going.”
