Talismanic West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard is well known for his abilities in T20 cricket. He has been a star performer with the bat in T20 cricket throughout the world. Pollard is one of the most prolific T20 players around the world and features in almost every league. In the Indian Premier League, he has been serving Mumbai Indians for many years and has made several match-winning contributions.

However, very few people are aware that Pollard scored a massive six on the first ball of his T20I career. He first came out to bat against New Zealand and hit an effortless six with the help of his wrists.

Pollard is a T20 specialist around the world and the first player to play 500 T20 games. He became the second batsman after Chris Gayle to notch up the 10,000-run mark in the T20 cricket as well and is sitting in an elite club. He is a handy bowler as well and chip-in with a few overs every now and then.

His fielding is breathtaking in the outfield and has produced some memorable catches so far in his career. In the Indian Premier League, he has a habit of taking stunning catches while fielding near the boundary rope.

Recently, he became the only third batsmen ever to hit six sixes in an over in international cricket after Herschelle Gibbs and Yuvraj Singh. During a T20 game against Sri Lanka, he smacked Akila Dananjaya out of the park for six consecutive times to register his name in the history books.

He has smashed a sum of 726 sixes in T20 cricket along with 686 fours in his career so far. In the process, he scored 53 fifties and 1 century in an illustrious career.
