Riyan Parag hasn’t played too many impactful innings in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2021 but he can be spotted in the field everywhere. Be it bowling side-arm slingers or taking the catch on the field, he is everywhere on the field.
His most recent contribution came against Kolkata Knight Riders on Saturday night when he grabbed two catches during Rajasthan Royals’ fielding innings. Both of these catches brought a unique celebration by Parag and Rahul Tewatia. After completing the catch, both of these players were posing for a selfie in front of an imaginary camera.

It first occurred when Parag took the catch of Rahul Tripathi. He hugged Tewatia and imitated having a selfie together. The next time when he grabbed Pat Cummins’ catch, he threw the phone to Tewatia and asked him to take the selfie this time.
This unique celebration has flooded social media with memes and praises. Here is a look at a few of those comments;

Riyan Parag is the confident and cool, yet humble kid, whom his classmates are jealous of.

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and asked KKR to have a bat. The KKR opener gave a poor start to their team as they struggled to hit boundaries and perished in an attempt to score fast. KKR managed just 25 runs inside the powerplay. However, Rahul Tripathi and Dinesh Karthik tried to pull their innings back on track but their cameos took KKR’s total to as far as 133/9 in 20 overs.

Chris Morris was the pick of the bowlers with four wickets while conceding just 23 runs in his four overs. Mustafizur Rahman also conceded below six runs per over and dismissed dangerous-looking Tripathi with a slower one.
Both teams will give their best to win this game in order to bring their IPL 2021 campaign back on track.
