Dhoni came into bat in a tricky situation after the fall of Ben Stokes, Dhoni being Dhoni took some time to settle, then in the 19th over he stepped up his game and the bowler in the receiving end was none other than Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, his India team-mate.

Dhoni got a yorker first up and he defended it with precision. the next ball was however hit for a boundary. then a wide followed, what followed it was a perfectly timed pull shot over deep midwicket boundary which sailed for a maximum.

The six was followed by yet another six a flatter one over the extra cover region.

Bhuvi’s over went for 19 runs. However, Dhoni perished in the next over caught-behind, to a bouncer from Siddarth Kaul which was expertly taken by Naman Ojha.
