Currently, Team India is locking horns with New Zealand in the first semi-final of the ICC World Cup 2019a at the Old Trafford in Manchester. After winning the toss, the Kiwi skipper, Kane Williamson decided to bat first with one change in their squad as Lockie Ferguson came back in to replace Tim Southee. The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli also announced a change in the Indian squad as Yuzvendra Chahal replaced Ravindra Jadeja.
The Indian new ball bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave India a good start as Bumrah dismissed Martin Guptill quite early in the innings and restricted the Blackcaps to a score of just 27/1 (lowest by any team in CWC 2019) in the first 10 overs.
However, Williamson and Henry Nicholls formed a 50 run partnership to get themselves in a decent position, but in the 19th over Jadeja dismissed the latter just when both the batsmen were looking settled. After the dismissal, the Indian skipper was spotted dancing on the field when Nicholls was clean bowled by Ravindra Jadeja. Kohli danced and chants ‘Oh Ravi Jadeja’ in celebration.
