Before the IPL 2018 season began, the pre-assessment of all the squads showed that the teams were even. Despite a few backup issues, no team looked way stronger any other and every team had a weakness or two. As the season started, few teams galloped ahead while few teams faced an engine failure. Yet, the last team on the points table can well beat the table toppers. No match is a granted win.

Now with the Tournament moving into the business area, every team wants to be in the top four of the IPL. With 15 matches still remaining in the league, there are lot many permutations and combinations that are floating. Here is what every team needs to do to qualify for playoffs.

Chennai Super Kings

“IPL is the tournament where seven teams play to compete in the Final with Chennai Super Kings”. The sentence is likely to prove right again with the Yellow army sloshing everyone coming their way. Despite all the injuries, they are at the 2nd spot in the points table.

Chennai Super Kings will be next seen traveling to  Jaipur to play against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur on 11th May, then they will host Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab at Pune and will end the league matches against DD at Delhi. CSK needs one more win to qualify for playoffs.
