The shutterbugs were busy at the PCA Stadium as Yuvraj was seen interacting with the likes of Rohit, Kohli, and Hardik Pandya in the lead-up to the first T20I. “Great day at @pcacricketassociation meeting the honorable CM of Punjab @bhagwantmann1 ji and also the boys in blue! Humbled to have a stand named after me at my home ground ???? Many congratulations to my brother @harbhajan3 for having received this honour too,” Yuvraj said, sharing photos from the memorable evening.

Harbhajan Singh also thanked the PCA and congratulated Yuvraj after the two World Cup winners were felicitated in Mohali. He wrote: “My brother @yuvisofficial congratulations for getting the stand named for you at PCA..Love to all fans and friends”.

Both Yuvraj and Harbhajan were part of India’s victorious T20 World Cup campaign in 2007 and the 50-over World Cup campaign in 2011. Yuvraj was one of the finest all-rounders in limited-overs cricket during his heyday, having scored more than 10,000 runs in all the formats of the game at the international level.

Yuvraj Singh mentored the Punjab domestic side a couple of seasons ago but the all-rounder seems to have ruled out taking up a coaching role in the near future. As per the quotes in PTI, Yuvraj said, “I still work with the players on and off. I have worked with the Punjab Cricketers in the past as well. But I want to see my child growing up. So, I am not sure if I can commit to something full time to the association at this stage.”
